One/Day Project, Year 2: shoot-edit-upload one photo every day, always with the goal of improving my photography skills. Feedback is welcome and appreciated!
__02/19/10__ Bike Light Painting
To make this abstract, I stood in front of the camera in a room with all the lights off and made gradually bigger circles with my bicycle safety light while it was set on one of the blinky modes. I took about 30 shots, using different fields of view and different blinky modes. I chose this shot because it was relatively simple and uncluttered, and the blink pattern made for some interesting streaks. De-saturation and a split toning effect seemed to be the obvious choice in post.
