Burned Trail

We completed a just-shy-of-10-miles hike today. This is a view from the Serrano Canyon trail, which is right in the middle of the area that burned in the 'Springs Fire' in May of this year. If you've never hiked through a burned area, it's quite an experience. It gives you a view of nature that you don't normally see. I enjoyed it, although the lack of shade was pretty rough.
