Tube
London
This is Africa? Well no, but we had an 8-hour layover in London on our way to Johannesburg, and we sure as hell weren't going to spend all that time in the airport. We met up with a friend who told us to just take the regular tube lines, not the express train. We saved a lot of money.
London Eye
London
We thought about riding on the London Eye and I bet it would have been awesome. We were only there a few hours, though, so we decided not to try.
London Eye
London
The massive wheel really commands attention, being far bigger than anything around it.
Parliment
London
I was enthralled by the amazing architecture and details of this building.
Gothic Windows
London
So much going on with this building...
Mary and Jesus
London
They really have that heavenly glow here, hmm...
Westminster Abbey
London
Such a massive structure, too bad you couldn't go inside without paying.
Stained Glass
London
I liked how only the one figure was catching the light on this Westminster Abbey stained glass.
Clock Tower
London
So it's the bell inside that's named Big Ben, not the tower itself. Pretty sure no one cares, though.
I love that there's so much detail on the tower - I didn't even notice until I looked at this photo.
