Kitch
London
There were quite a few red telephone booths lying around, but obviously intended for tourists.
Hardcore Chain
London
I think this particular chain was surrounding a canon, but we saw it in other places, too. It's like a freaking mace.
Well Protected
London
One of the two pacing guards, keeping the queen safe at Buckingham Palace.
Golden Statue
London
I don't recall what this statue is of, but it's in front of Buckingham Palace. Why did I shoot the back? Mostly because that's where the sun was shining and I knew I wouldn't get able to get a decent shot from the front.
Trafalgar Square
London
It was fun to see this square, there was a lot going on. Displayed most prominently was a giant clock counting down to the 2012 summer olympics. Otherwise there were lots of people and lots of street performers, as expected :)
Big Ben
London
The view towards parliament from Trafalgar Square. Next, we got some food and then headed back to the airport to fly to Johannesburg.
Bush Sunrise
Balule Game Reserve, Bush Walk
After driving most of the previous day from Johannesburg, we arrived that night at the Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule Game Reserve. We went on a fairly uneventful night drive except for the Land Cruiser breaking down.
The next morning we headed out before sunrise for a bush walk.
Rhino Poo
Balule Game Reserve, Bush Walk
Sadly this is as close as we'd get to seeing a rhino.
Spine
Balule Game Reserve, Bush Walk
Something got eated.
