Monkey
Tremisana Game Lodge
At Tremisana there is some nice vegetation that gets watered, including a fairly large tree that these monkeys live in. Apparently they go out into the bush during the day, but always return at night where they're behind a big electric fence. They're not dumb.

Typical monkey, hanging out in a tree.
Monkey Stare
Tremisana Game Lodge
This monkey looks kind of pissed, like I was too close to his tree.

Aww, so cute.
Nyala
Marc's Treehouse Lodge
We spent two nights at Marc's Treehouse Lodge, which was a far cry from the relative luxury of Tremisana. The area was completely different, more of a forest. The area was home to quite a few nyala, the deer-like animal pictured here.
Nyalaaaaaaa
Marc's Treehouse Lodge
Teehee, it looks funny. It's not alarmed, though, I just caught him/her in mid-chew.
Rhino Teeth
Kruger National Park
After breakfast, we drove out to Kruger National Park, specifically to the Orpen gate. Near the entrance they had a lot of bones around, including this rhino skull. What big teeth they have.
Giraffe Fight 1
Kruger National Park
This was the first really cool thing we saw in Kruger (and not the last, nor the coolest). It's two giraffes fighting!
Giraffe Fight 2
Kruger National Park
So giraffes aren't exactly fierce warriors - they just whack each other with their horns, which are pretty blunt and small. I'm sure it still hurts a lot.
