Week-long trip to Maine, filled with lobsters, blueberries, rugged coastline and a wedding! Many of these shots are from Acadia National Park. Don't forget to click the "Map This" button to see where all of these shots were taken.

Shingles
Textures on the side of the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, the first place you hit driving into Bar Harbor from the mainland. We did it last.
Maine State House Dome
Wish I could climb up those stairs...
Maine State House
Front view, along State Street in Augusta. I like how the flags really glow in the sunlight.

Bush Compound
The Bushes don't have a home. They have a compound. Notice the lobster trap buoys.
Pulleys
At a pier in Kennebunkport, after having lobster rolls and ice cream at a place that Bush Sr. is known to "frequent". We asked how often he comes in and it's about once a year. I guess the concept of patronage is relative to your celebrity.
Fuzzy Caterpillar
We probably wouldn't have noticed these if one hadn't started crawling on my wife. Turns out the bench we were sitting on was the home of ~10 of these guys.
Sea Bird
Walked down to Mother's Beach in Kennebunkport near sunset.
Not sure what this is, but he walked out on a rock and posed for me, so I was obliged to take a photograph.
Snail Trails
At Mother's Beach. When the tide is out, you can see all the trails in the sand left by snails. The snails are usually clustered together at the base of a rock, or in tide pools.
