Welcome to the One/Day Project

Here you will find hundreds of photos that I've taken every day since 2/29/2008. I reached my initial goal of making it to leap day 2012 (after 1462 photos), but I'm still going - the new goal is to make it to Monday, 2/29/2016.

Every photo in these galleries is a unique creation from that day. My intent is to create art, and I've taken great care to create most of these photographs. In addition to not uploading simple snapshots, I try incredibly hard not to repeat myself.

Please enjoy, and feel free to comment. Like the shot? Give it a thumbs up. Really like it? Buy a print or digital download.

Thanks for looking!

I shot this in Century City this afternoon, just outside of the Annenberg Space for Photography. It's an amazing place and their current exhibit on water (coinciding with April's NatGeo issue) was quite eye-opening and powerful. I highly recommend checking it out. I plan on going back for some of their lectures in the next month.
My mother-in-law is in town and today we went to a nearby farmer's market, got lunch at a place called Breadbar, visited the Annenberg, and then came home for a wonderful dinner - almost soley using food purchased at the farmer's market. All-in-all, a great day!

A tree wrapped in blue lights at the Westfield mall in Century City. They looked really cool, but it was pretty difficult to get a good shot with my compact. I brought my gorillapod with me so I was able to shoot hands-free, but my little Canon SD400 had a hard time focusing, so this is one of the few shots that came out sharp.
