Welcome to the One/Day Project

Here you will find hundreds of photos that I've taken every day since 2/29/2008. I reached my initial goal of making it to leap day 2012 (after 1462 photos), but I'm still going - the new goal is to make it to Monday, 2/29/2016.

Every photo in these galleries is a unique creation from that day. My intent is to create art, and I've taken great care to create most of these photographs. In addition to not uploading simple snapshots, I try incredibly hard not to repeat myself.

Please enjoy, and feel free to comment. Like the shot? Give it a thumbs up. Really like it? Buy a print or digital download.

Thanks for looking!

_06/04/12_ They Don't Live Here Anymore
Here's an odd case of mailboxes persisting long after their owners' building has been demolished. My theory is that they decided to leave them up, rather than fix the hole in the fence that would occur if they took them out. Still, pretty weird.
I'm extra happy about this one because it's a second chance photo. I took a photo of these mailboxes on Saturday, and it might have been the photo of the day except my phone focused on the background instead of the mailboxes, even though the mailboxes took up 90% of the image. Today, while riding my bike home, I realized I was right next to this spot again, so I made a short detour to get a photo. In addition, this turned out to be a much better photo than the one I tried to take on Saturday.
