Welcome to the One/Day Project

Here you will find hundreds of photos that I've taken every day since 2/29/2008. I reached my initial goal of making it to leap day 2012 (after 1462 photos), but I'm still going - the new goal is to make it to Monday, 2/29/2016.

Every photo in these galleries is a unique creation from that day. My intent is to create art, and I've taken great care to create most of these photographs. In addition to not uploading simple snapshots, I try incredibly hard not to repeat myself.

Please enjoy, and feel free to comment. Like the shot? Give it a thumbs up. Really like it? Buy a print or digital download.

Thanks for looking!

2013-05-08 Living Wall
Thanks for all the comments yesterday, I'm glad you liked my microwave tribute :)
Today's photo is part 2 of a previous photo - Dormant Wall. Just about 1.5 months ago, this wall was completely barren, and now it's completely covered. I'd say it was taken from the same spot, but my point of reference was so obscured that I'm not sure. Yay for spring!
And I realize 'living' is not the opposite of 'dormant'. Deal.

_12/07/12_ Ivy & Bark
The one and only photo I took today as I left work. Edited in Lightroom.

_03/16/12_ Ficus & Ivy
Here's the only shot I took today, except a shot of my delicious dinner to share on Facebook - people LOVE seeing what other people are eating. Don't you? Of course you do.
This tree is just outside my work, and it looked especially neat after a little bit of rain. If I had more lighting equipment, I'd consider doing a series on ficus roots in LA. There are so many neat ones to choose from. This shot is straight out of camera, which I don't normally do, but the iPhone did a fantastic job with the exposure.
