Welcome to the One/Day Project

Here you will find hundreds of photos that I've taken every day since 2/29/2008. I reached my initial goal of making it to leap day 2012 (after 1462 photos), but I'm still going - the new goal is to make it to Monday, 2/29/2016.

Every photo in these galleries is a unique creation from that day. My intent is to create art, and I've taken great care to create most of these photographs. In addition to not uploading simple snapshots, I try incredibly hard not to repeat myself.

Please enjoy, and feel free to comment. Like the shot? Give it a thumbs up. Really like it? Buy a print or digital download.

Thanks for looking!

__01/18/12__ Long Climb
At first I wanted to post a super dark photo as a blackout protest against SOPA and PIPA, but chose a real photo instead. This is part of a construction crane, specifically the part where it transitions from sun to shade. I processed the photo quite a bit, but I like the look. It's crazy to think that a crane operator starts their day by climbing straight up this thing.
What if you forget something? Or have to pee?

Ugh, over 3 hours of my life were essentially wasted today. I went down to the Annenberg to see Jodi Cobb speak, but it was cancelled at the very last minute due to 'technical difficulties'. I'm skeptical, because come on - don't they have a projector and screen they could have set up? Hopefully it wasn't anything too bad.
I took this shot of another attendee walking away after we learned it was cancelled. The shiny buildings are so cool in that part of Century City - I see something different with the light every time I go.

[last year] I'm ready for iOS 5... anytime...
