Welcome to the One/Day Project

Here you will find hundreds of photos that I've taken every day since 2/29/2008. I reached my initial goal of making it to leap day 2012 (after 1462 photos), but I'm still going - the new goal is to make it to Monday, 2/29/2016.

Every photo in these galleries is a unique creation from that day. My intent is to create art, and I've taken great care to create most of these photographs. In addition to not uploading simple snapshots, I try incredibly hard not to repeat myself.

Please enjoy, and feel free to comment. Like the shot? Give it a thumbs up. Really like it? Buy a print or digital download.

Thanks for looking!

2013-05-01 Lounge Chairs
Today, I got the lovely opportunity to visit the Chancellor's residence for a an intimate cello/piano recital. They have these great old lounge chairs by the small pool. Some ducks were there, too.
That's a good story.

Octagonal Pool
Snapped a photo of these folks enjoying the pool from high above in the Eiffel tower.
Market Street
I lowered the vibrance on this shot, which had the effect of bringing out the lights along Market Street. You can see City Hall on the upper left, and the always-intimidating Sutro tower on the upper right.
Glasses
I highly recommend the View Lounge in the Marriott Marquis. The views are amazing and it's a perfect place to watch the sun set. Can't recommend their food or drinks though - hella pricey.
__02/09/10__ Marriott Mirror
Wow, what a view from the Marriott's 39th floor bar, which is coincidentally called The View. The left 2/3 of this photo is actually a giant slanted mirror in the bar, the right 1/3 is actually looking out the window.
Expect a Golden Gate Bridge photo tomorrow - I'm getting up early to go walk across it, since my Macworld session doesn't start until 10am. I'm really enjoying San Francisco, esp. the food!

Bfast - Taylor Street Coffee Shop
Lunch - Blondie's Pizza
Dinner - House of Nanking
