Welcome to the One/Day Project

Here you will find hundreds of photos that I've taken every day since 2/29/2008. I reached my initial goal of making it to leap day 2012 (after 1462 photos), but I'm still going - the new goal is to make it to Monday, 2/29/2016.

Every photo in these galleries is a unique creation from that day. My intent is to create art, and I've taken great care to create most of these photographs. In addition to not uploading simple snapshots, I try incredibly hard not to repeat myself.

_06/07/09_ Morning Flight Maine Trip iPhone Daily One last East coast sunrise, thanks to a 6 am flight back to LA via DC. This will be my last iPhone photo for a while, but I must say, it's been nice to stay up to date without needing a computer. Cheers! UPDATE: Now that I'm home and can see these shots on a computer, I realize how awful the quality is on some of them! They all look great on the phone... luckily I took most of the same shots with my D80, so I'll be posting those as well. [last year]
_06/06/09_ Wedding Cleats Maine Trip iPhone Daily Wedding Day! This was the reason for the trip. The wedding and ceremony were in beautiful York. The bride is REALLY into soccer, which explains this shot. Tomorrow we fly back to the West coast. Congrats Taylor and Connelly! [last year]
_06/05/09_ Portland Head Light Maine Trip iPhone Daily Spent half the day in Portland. Had lunch at a place called Duckfat and visited the Shipyard brewery. After the free samples wore off, we drove down to Fort Williams Park to see the Portland Head Light, the oldest lighthouse in Maine (1791). D80 version of the same scene [last year]
_06/04/09_ Coral Maine Trip iPhone Daily Today was a nice relaxing day in Kbunk, as the kids here say. This is a neat coral decoration at the rental house we're staying at. I did take some nice beach shots on my D80 today, but forgot to bring the iPhone along. [last year]
_06/03/09_ Cadillac Sunrise Maine Trip iPhone Daily As promised, the sunrise from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia NP. The view is amazing, and the pink colors were beautiful. At certain times of the year, this is the first place the sun hits the USA. Today we drive back to Kennebunk. Here's the D80 version of the same sunrise. [last year]
_05/31/09_ Kennebunkport Maine Trip iPhone Daily Arrived in Portland this morning and drove to our rental in Kennebunk. Ate at Bartley's in nearby Kennebunkport, I'd never eaten whole lobster before! Got this shot after a clearing rainstorm. [last year]
