Welcome to the One/Day Project
Here you will find hundreds of photos that I've taken every day since 2/29/2008. I reached my initial goal of making it to leap day 2012 (after 1462 photos), but I'm still going - the new goal is to make it to Monday, 2/29/2016.
Every photo in these galleries is a unique creation from that day. My intent is to create art, and I've taken great care to create most of these photographs. In addition to not uploading simple snapshots, I try incredibly hard not to repeat myself.

Fingers are tasty, aren't they? Five-month-old Eliza joined us for breakfast at the farmer's market this morning. Her mom did, too :)
In other news, I made a gallery from my recent trip to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, from which my daily photo was this hummingbird.

This is Hailey, who apparently is trying to wink in this photo. It's pretty cute. She's also learning to walk, which is also fun and cute. We had her and her parents over today for lunch. She was endlessly entertained by our... drink coasters! Who knew? And in turn, we were entertained by her. It was fun.
On a photography-related note, it was interesting taking photos of her: I tried to use auto-focus, but it was pretty dark and the camera had to use the auto-focus assist light, which Hailey wasn't a fan of. When it came on she would squint and look away, so I stopped using it, but then nearly all of my photos were out of focus. Just thought I'd share!
Also, happy 11/11/11! More importantly, happy Veteran's Day and thanks to all the vets for your service.
