Welcome to the One/Day Project

Here you will find hundreds of photos that I've taken every day since 2/29/2008. I reached my initial goal of making it to leap day 2012 (after 1462 photos), but I'm still going - the new goal is to make it to Monday, 2/29/2016.

Every photo in these galleries is a unique creation from that day. My intent is to create art, and I've taken great care to create most of these photographs. In addition to not uploading simple snapshots, I try incredibly hard not to repeat myself.

Please enjoy, and feel free to comment. Like the shot? Give it a thumbs up. Really like it? Buy a print or digital download.

Thanks for looking!

Although I've been hiking in Saguaro NP many, many times, I've never been with a polarizing filter on my lens. Thanks to the filter, I was able to get a super-blue sky and really bring out the subtle patterns on the cactus.
I'm happy I went hiking this morning - I have almost every meal for the next few days booked up with various friends. It's amazing how busy a vacation can become.

West Side Road
Salt brings us closer together. Taste the love.

Badwater Basin
Here we are jumping, because... well, why not?

Badwater Basin
This is our anniversary shot! My wife is wearing a flower and I'm wearing a bow tie - we wore them on our wedding day.

Grandstand
Although it took a lot of careful work, I was able to balance my camera on a rock on the Grandstand, so I got some elevation to be able to point downwards and better show the vastness of the playa.

Racetrack Playa
You can see it's actually a pretty popular spot, despite it's remoteness. At least none of my other rock pictures have random people in them.

Dante's View
We're a bit squinty looking into the sun. You can see that it was a little cold up there.
