This may look familiar - I did a similar shot with a fork for my
2/22/10 daily photo. I wanted to do something like this a couple weeks ago, but our garbage disposal broke, and so I wasn't able to get these cool standing waves. Luckily we got it replaced, so I'm back in business. I discovered that if you take a photo *just* after you turn the disposal on you can see that the standing waves actually start from a single point and propagate outwards, that's what you see here.
I do like this photo, but I feel like it might be more interesting with the fork. Thoughts?
