AotP Photographer's Night 2012
For the third time, I participated in the Aquarium of the Pacific's Photographers Night, where the Aquarium closes early so photographers can have the run of the place. Tripods and flashes are allowed (except for a few animals). This year, I rented at 105mm macro lens, although I got a lot of shots with my 60mm macro as well.
The big epiphany from this visit? How awesome jellies are with off-camera flash.

I'm not sure if things go in or come out of this hole, but wow, look at those colors! I wish I'd remembered to get a picture of what this animal/plant thing is, because it sure is weird.
