Aquarium of the Pacific's Photographer's Night, 9/25/11
All shots (except the first one) were taken with a 60mm macro lens with a rubber lens hood so I could get right up against the glass (acrylic, actually). I used both my own D80 and a borrowed D7000 during the night. I used my off-camera flash on the last three photos, and everything else used available light from the exhibits.

I think this is my best sea dragon shot, mostly due to the contrasting background. When I saw it was 7:50, I rushed over to get a few more shots of these guys, because their tank goes dark at 8pm. It's also the only exhibit that you're not allowed to use artificial light on. They're very delicate animals.
