Aquarium of the Pacific's Photographer's Night, 9/25/11
All shots (except the first one) were taken with a 60mm macro lens with a rubber lens hood so I could get right up against the glass (acrylic, actually). I used both my own D80 and a borrowed D7000 during the night. I used my off-camera flash on the last three photos, and everything else used available light from the exhibits.

For this and the next 2 photos, I was able to use my off-camera flash in the touch tank. I love shooting the touch tank because there's no glass in the way and you can get incredibly close to the animals. This hermit crab was probably the brightest colored thing in the tank.
