This shot is downtown LA seen from the criminal courts building, where I participated in the marvelous and fun-filled activity known as jury duty. It was a very hazy day, and I liked the shadows the buildings cast in the late afternoon light. It didn't come through too great in the color photo, so I made it B&W and played with all sorts of settings to get the silhouette look and keep the shadow lines in the sky. Curves was most handy.
