Kissing Statue
12/21/08 Statue I got a few years ago at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. The black background is a scrap piece of suede that I also used for yesterday's photo. I used a flashlight held at a distance and a piece of thin foam as a diffuser in an attempt to reduce the harsh highlights. The reflections are still there, but much less than if I'd simply shined the flashlight right at it.
