Compressed Air Can
6/16/08
This shot didn't come out as well as I'd like, but it was very fun to play with. I came across a can of compressed air (or tetrafluoroethane) where the nozzle had broken, so it was pretty useless for dusting electronics. Turns out if you turn it upsidedown and press to release the gas, almost all of it comes out as a liquid. So, that's what I did on this horridly ugly chair and watched it freeze. The frost stayed for a really long time, and the chair was still cold to the touch almost an hour later. It's OK to play with compressed chemicals, right?
