Happy election day! Did you vote? I hope so.
This is the cone of a male white-haired cycad plant (Encephalartos friderici-guilielmi), native to South Africa. I also took some pictures of flowers that would probably be considered prettier than this, but I want my one/day gallery to have as much variety as possible :)
