Spiny Lizard
4/18/08 Cool spiny lizard in Saguaro NP East. The blue/yellow scales along with the striped legs make it really pretty. I was surprised at how close I was able to get to the lizard - I took many photos before this one, each time thinking that it would run away when I moved closer. Reptiles are dumb, I totally could have eaten him. More lizards from this hike are in the critters gallery.
