Just south of the intersection of 22nd/Houghton in Tucson there is a sculpture that I love, titled "mare and foal". When you drive by, at some point you are perpendicular to the metal cutouts that make up the sculpture, and the whole thing disappears. It's also quite impressive lit up at night.
