Venice Beach
2009-03-17 Happy St. Patrick's day! I was impressed to see so many green daily photos! My photo is not green, and not really festive. Our friend Joe is still in town, and just like yesterday we went out to dinner by the beach, but today we went to Venice instead of Santa Monica. We ate at the C&O Trattoria, which is a really fun (and tasty) Italian place. Partway through our meal the waiters handed out lyric sheets and we all sang "That's Amore!" As we were walking along the beach, I noticed this guy playing the guitar on a lifeguard station right as the sun was going down. I cropped quite a bit to get a better composition and upped the saturation a tad, but the colors are accurate (unlike yesterday's photo). [ last year - http://www.jawsnap.net/Daily/Year1/i-6nD8kq4 ]
