Bottoms Up
2009-03-09 This honey bee is sticking out of a Japanese Flowering Quince (Chaenomeles speciosa) from China. Why is it not a Chinese Flowering Quince? I have no idea, but that's what the sign says. I got this exposure by using the built-in flash and dialing in -1 EV. I got a similar effect with my SLR and SB-800 for this cherry tree photo. Fill flash = a good thing! I'm glad I'm using it more, especially since midday is when I usually get a chance to shoot. [ last year - http://www.jawsnap.net/Daily/Year1/i-45vdptm ]
