Curvy Building
2009-05-26
Today I'm back at work, but I still had the 12-24mm lens I rented, so I walked around a little to get some shots. This is my favorite, it's shot at 12mm, pointing straight up. The building on the bottom is the new Orthopedic Hospital Research Center and Biomedical Sciences Research Building. That's a doozy of a name, so hopefully someone will soon donate enough money to get it named after them. Anyways, part of it is curved, and the wide angle really accentuates that, especially in contrast to the traditional 90 degree angled building on the top - the much older Life Sciences building.
I used a modified version of the sepia Lightroom preset to get this look.
