Sushi Crab
2009-04-01 Along with libraries and other organizations around the world, the UCLA library celebrated April 1st by having people submit edible books that were admired, judged and eaten. This cute little marzipan crab is part of The Book of Sushi, which included some very impressive sushi designs that were all made of sweets. It was made by the Physical Processing section of the Cataloging and Metadata Center. The overall favorite was based on The Bird Artist and consisted of 3 dozen unique and intricately designed cupcakes that resembled birds. I ate three of them, sigh...
