Sand Crab
2009-07-12 Tonight we went on a walk near the Santa Monica pier around sunset. Like many others there (mostly young children) I dug up a sand crab and used it as my daily photo. These things really tickle! It's hard to tell because it's so out of focus, but the pier is in the background. I used my compact Canon in macro mode with flash on and EV -2. EDIT: I didn't even realize it when I uploaded this pic, but it marks my 500th consecutive daily photo! See year 1 for the others.
