Long Climb
2012-01-18 At first I wanted to post a super dark photo as a blackout protest against SOPA and PIPA, but chose a real photo instead. This is part of a construction crane, specifically the part where it transitions from sun to shade. I processed the photo quite a bit, but I like the look. It's crazy to think that a crane operator starts their day by climbing straight up this thing. What if you forget something? Or have to pee? [last year]

on January 19, 2012Well, having to pee isn't exactly a problem (unless your boss is standing directly under the crane.) I like the treatment here. Nice soft touch on the sky, and great clarity in the crane scaffolding.
