2011-08-04 Africa Trip, Day 4 This animal was all over the grounds of Marc's Treehouse Lodge, where we tried not to freeze to death last night. If you know how wide the iPhone's lens is, you'll realize that I was incredibly close for this shot - it wasn't very skittish, to say the least. We spent most of the day in Kruger National Park, and it was incredible! After a slow start, we ended up seeing two giraffes fighting, a martial eagle with a kill and not one but two leopards! Of course I took many, many more photos, but you'll have to wait until I get back to the USA. More trip photos! [last year]

This is my wife, riding an escalator in a store. You might notice there is some weirdness going on. That's because it's actually 10 photos stitched together using AutoStitch. I waited about 6 steps after my wife and just started taking a bunch of photos at different angles. The app is looking for common elements to make a panorama, but in this case it was just a blob of photos with the only commonality being my wife and the escalator itself. Fun stuff.
