2012-01-20 Lisa was one of two friends at work that helped me take some photos for the Environmental Portraiture class I'm taking. I was practicing getting subjects with front, side and back light. This photo is deep in the shade, so it's not really any of those situations, but I like the photo. I only had my S95 on hand, which required a pretty high ISO. Hopefully you can't tell too much. Stay tuned for more people photos! In other news, I was sad to hear that the LA Zoo's hippo had to be euthanized. I took some photos of it last year in healthier times. I remember being really excited to see it walking around and eating before going back in the water. [last year]
