Spaceship
2011-05-27 I read on the building's webpage that the architecture has nautical features, but from this angle I think it looks like a rocket. I grabbed this shot as my wife and I walked across the street to eat some food while watching the ocean. It was really nice and relaxing. I used Photoshop to black out the sky, mostly because I couldn't figure out how to mask out a palm tree that was in the shot. I just didn't have enough extra blue sky to clone/paste/stamp over it, and everything I tried looked worse than leaving it in. So now it's all black. I added some extra black to the top of the photo to make it square because... I was feeling adventurous? Have a great weekend! [last year]
