Morning Star
2011-12-10 Today was the wedding, tomorrow we fly back to LA. Short and sweet. This is one of the windows of the chapel where the ceremony was held - Morning Star Lutheran Chapel. It couldn't have been much more charming. This building was built in 1906, but the congregation has been around since 1775. Afterwards we headed down to Colonel Francis Beatty Park for the reception, and then we went to the groom's parent's house for the afterparty where many of us tried a 'yellow hammer' for the first time - it's apparently the traditional drink before Alabama football games. It's pinneapple juice, orange juice, and lots and lots of booze. Anyways. Congratulations Chris and Lacey! [last year]
