I started taking a Lynda.com course over the weekend - Foundations of Photography: Composition, taught by the outstanding Ben Long. My plan is to watch no more than one chapter per day, and actually go out and do the exercise he lays out at the end of each lesson. Today I did just that, although this photo does not reflect the exercise we were supposed to do. But that's OK, because I'm not here to prove to you that I did the exercise. I'm here to share my favorite photo of the day, and it's this one.
