This is construction on the 405 freeway, just a few feet from where I took last Friday's photo. It's really more like baleen. I can just imagine commuters falling onto a giant freeway mouth that looks like this. Speaking of which, the RAMPTURE starts tonight. For an entire miserable year, the 8 on/off ramps at the 405/Wilshire interchange will be torn down and rebuilt, 2 at a time for 3 month periods. It's going to suck, and suck hard.
In other news, I got a new camera! I bought a D7000 on eBay and it just arrived this afternoon. This is kind of huge for me - I've never own another DSLR besides my D80 that I bought 5 years ago. I'm pretty stoked.
