Smoke Shadow

Kind of an odd composition, I admit. The light and dark geometric shapes are a staircase next to the tree whose shadow was projected onto the building. The pink light is courtesy of the sun shining through the smoke of the brush fire that started early this morning.
Also, I saw Joe McNally speak at the Annenberg Space for Photography tonight - what a treat! Entertaining, educational, and inspiring.
