Squash

From the TMI department:
After being suspicious of our stove not working efficiently, we called the gas company in to inspect, and they deemed it hazardous. Yay. So while we're waiting for a fix or replacement, we've had to re-think our meals, which has actually been kind of fun. The slow-cooker has been the big star, and tonight it will be cooking a sweet acorn squash recipe that we'll eat for breakfast tomorrow. This photo is the bottom slide of the acorn squash - I sliced it that way first so it wouldn't wobble when I cut it down the middle. It's lying in the bottom of the crock pot, although we didn't cook it of course. I just thought the shape looked cool.
