Hummingbird
2011-12-29 Today I visited the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, which is always a treat. The last time I went, I took this photo at the Raptor Free Flight program. We saw it again today, and it was still awesome, with slightly different birds. This hummingbird was not one of them. I took this photo in the hummingbird exhibit - a walk-in aviary. Besides getting photos like this, the highlight was seeing a nesting hummingbird incredibly close up. This is probably it for Tucson photos for a while. Tomorrow we head back to Los Angeles. Yay?
