3 night trip to Austin, Texas. Highlights of the trip included the State Capitol, Downtown Tour, Barton Springs, 6th Street and the bats on the Congress Street bridge.

Lamp This lamp is mounted on a very old building. We learned on our tour that we were never supposed to see this part of the building because another building would be right up against it. It's neat, though, because you can see how complicated it was to build a limestone rubble wall. "Rubble" is literal - they used pieces of all shapes and sizes, even putting in wood where they couldn't find stone. This building was along Congress street just South of the Capitol.
