Four days in Chicago in the spring. We visited the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, SkyDeck (Sears Tower), Museum of Science and Industry, and the Art Institute. We also took an architecture cruise and made it out to Oak Park to see Frank Lloyd Wright buildings.

Straight Down A neat feature of the Willis (Sears) tower is called 'The Ledge', which are acrylic boxes that jut out about 3 feet from the 103rd floor. So basically, you can step outside the building and having nothing but air for 1000 feet below you. Interestingly, the boxes actually retract back into the building - for wind, I guess?
