For our 5th anniversary, my wife and I hiked the Grand Canyon! We camped 2 nights, at Bright Angel and Indian Garden campgrounds.
After the hike, we spent time around Flagstaff and visited Sunset Crater and Wupatki National Monuments. Check the map to see where we went!

Little Colorado Overlook

Driving West towards Grand Canyon National Park on Highway 64, you'll pass a scenic overlook that you should stop at. It's part of the Little Colorado Tribal Park on Navajo land, and it features jaw-dropping views of the gorge created by the lazily-named tributary of the Colorado. This is one of the most necessary railings ever.
After this park, we continued onto the Grand Canyon before heading back to LA, but it was so foggy we couldn't see anything. Luckily we'd hiked it a few days earlier :)
