2nd anniversary trip to the islands of Oahu and Hawaii. 8 days of tropical sightseeing in late November. We visited Oahu for 3 nights, the Big Island for 4.

Aloha Tower Honolulu, Oahu This was apparently the tallest structure in Hawaii at one point, and it was a landmark for cruise ships. Not so much a landmark for airplanes, which is how we got here :) To the right of the tower is presumably a staging point for cruise ship passengers - it looks like a giant warehouse. To the left is shopping of all kinds.

<em>Hawaii Day 4</em>
After a delicious breakfast at Big City Grill, we left Oahu and flew to the Big Island. We rented a car and drove around the South side of the island to our vacation rental on Pahoa. At least I hope we did - we're still driving as I type this.
On the drive there we stopped at South Point where people were jumping off cliffs into clear blue water. This marks the Southernmost point of Hawaii and therefore the United States. We also stopped at the Punalu'u black sand beach, which was awesome and really confused my camera's metering system :)
