2nd anniversary trip to the islands of Oahu and Hawaii. 8 days of tropical sightseeing in late November. We visited Oahu for 3 nights, the Big Island for 4.

Country Road South Point, Hawaii After leaving Highway 11, South Point Road gets very pastoral. All around there are bright green fields with cows, sheep, goats and even some llamas. The road is very narrow and you have to pull over for two cars to get by comfortably - some drivers reciprocated, others were jerks. This shot taken through the windshield (wife was driving).

<em>Hawaii Day 4</em>
After a delicious breakfast at Big City Grill, we left Oahu and flew to the Big Island. We rented a car and drove around the South side of the island to our vacation rental on Pahoa. At least I hope we did - we're still driving as I type this.
On the drive there we stopped at South Point where people were jumping off cliffs into clear blue water. This marks the Southernmost point of Hawaii and therefore the United States. We also stopped at the Punalu'u black sand beach, which was awesome and really confused my camera's metering system :)
