2nd anniversary trip to the islands of Oahu and Hawaii. 8 days of tropical sightseeing in late November. We visited Oahu for 3 nights, the Big Island for 4.

Oil USS Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Oahu Apparently the USS Arizona had just been topped off with fuel oil right before the attack took place, and as a result it is still seeping out nearly 60 years later. If you want to see it, go early in the morning before the water gets more choppy.

Today we flew into Honolulu! My cousins picked us up and took us all over the North Shore. This turtle (and several of his friends) was on Ali'i Beach in Hale'iwa.

This is part of the USS Utah, one of the 3 ships sunk on 12/7/41 that was not put back into service. On the other side of Ford Island lies the USS Arizona.
We also visited some places on Hickam AFB - it's nice to be staying with military folks :)
In the evening we went a luau at Paradise Cove. Such fun!
