Visited Boston, MA and Newport, RI during a trip to Fairhaven, MA for a wedding. We stayed in Providence, RI. Got it?
In Boston we walked the entire Freedom Trail, seeing all the historical sites. In Newport we toured 3 mansions, although it was raining too hard to get any photos of the first one. Both days were incredibly overcast, so don't look for any pretty skies in these photos.

Skull Headstone

A ladybug on a skull and crossbones headpiece in the Granary Burial Grounds in Boston. I'd write more about this, but we walked the entire freedom trail today, plus some other stuff. We were in Boston for about 12 hours, and that doesn't include our commute to and from Providence. Whew, I'm glad we're back to the hotel. We'll sleep well tonight...
I'll be sure to post more photos of this trip, but not until I'm back safe and sound in Santa Monica.
