3 remarkably cold days in New Orleans. Took a plantation tour, did a lot of walking around the Central Business District and French Quarter, ate lots of Southern cooking and only did a modest amount of drinking. I swear!

Oak Trees Oak Alley Plantation Row of nearly 200-year-old live oaks at Oak Alley. This shot was taken from the house, looking towards the Mississippi. Back in the day, you could have seen the river, but now the levees are too high.
