Along with my wife and mom-in-law, I visited Orange City, Iowa in late April for my grandmother-in-law's 100th birthday. The small town (pop. 6k) is a Dutch enclave with windmills, wooden shoes and over half a dozen reformed churches. Most of these photos are from a single day that we spent driving around. A few at the end are from Omaha, where we flew into and out of.

Melitta Old Factory Coffee Shop Aside from being an old Dutch shoe factory, the coffee shop was really cool and pretty fancy! Unlike the typical LA Starbucks, no one was in a rush here - they hand make every cup using this cone filter, it was kind of fun to watch.
