Orange City | Apr 2011
Along with my wife and mom-in-law, I visited Orange City, Iowa in late April for my grandmother-in-law's 100th birthday. The small town (pop. 6k) is a Dutch enclave with windmills, wooden shoes and over half a dozen reformed churches. Most of these photos are from a single day that we spent driving around. A few at the end are from Omaha, where we flew into and out of.

Shed? Another shot of the grain elevator complex. It was really cool to walk around (I'm sure we weren't supposed to) because of the massive scale of it. But yet the architecture is so simple - it's really just a bunch giant column-shaped containers for grain.
