San Francisco | Feb 2010
I traveled to San Francisco from 2/8-2/14 to attend Macworld 2010 at the Moscone Center. I was busy during most of the day with sessions, but still managed to go on some photo excursions, including a trip to the Golden Gate Bridge. Something to note is that I only brought my 50mm f/1.4 lens with me. I missed my 18-200 at times, but overall it was nice to go minimalist.

2010-02-08 Of course I'm more of a cubicle rat, but the title fits this photo. Today is my first day in San Francisco for Macworld, and this is the view from my hotel room as I work diligently on my laptop. I put my camera on my gorillapod and set it on the ironing board and set the self timer for 10 seconds so I had time to run over and sit down with the laptop. All of the light in this shot is coming from the laptop or city lights. mac os x tips! Check out all my SF Pics [last year]

on February 16, 2010This exposed surprisingly well. Normally a shot like this is going to either munch the highlights or the shadows, but this one held its own across the range. The cooler bluish light from the laptop works well against the warmer lights of the city.

on February 9, 2010This turned out great! Wonderful SP as the computer light lit up your face quite nicely. Love those lights out the window too. Great bokeh.
